Waiting and Planning

I finally have a mentor, but before I can work with her, I need to wait and plan.

One of the things a mentor must go by before being approved is the background check. While I wait for that to be approved, there are a couple things I need to prepare for my first mentor visit, including my product proposal, product calendar, outline of what I want to accomplish through the mentorship, and my ISM handbook. On top of that, I need to prepare for my presentation night, create my presentation board, and begin illustrating and promoting my book. I feel like there is so much I need to do and so little time to do it! But I need to remember that the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. My mentor will be out until February 5th, so I have time to plan and create what I need to. However, I am still feeling overwhelmed. What I need to do is lay out everything I need to do in school and prioritize my tasks. Perhaps I can combine a few of them to work more efficiently. I can problem solve in order to quell my stress, and that is what I will be doing this week.
