The semester is coming to a close, and I’m taking a look at what I’ve accomplished.

I can’t believe that I’m already done with half of my senior year. So much has happened, and I’ve grown so much. Within the realm of ISM, I have accomplished a great deal. I have completed a ton of assessments, blogs, interviews, and presentations. I have also completed my original work, and I’ve set myself up for success next semester when I go on to publish my children’s book. I’ll always feel like I can do more- that’s the perfectionist in me- but overall, I am proud of what I’ve done. Going into the Christmas season and winter break, I can celebrate knowing that I have done what I need to do. The only thing I am still working on is getting a mentor, and I am close to narrowing down who I will choose after a couple of additional interviews I’ve had over the past few weeks. I am excited to see what next semester holds, and how I can use what I’ve learned this semester to have an even better second semester. This is the end of chapter one of my senior year, and I can’t wait to see what happens in chapter 2!
