New Year, New Goals

Starting off the new year in ISM by redefining what I want out of this semester.

The new year brings along many opportunities and adventures. Unfortunately, it also brings the pressure of creating new years resolutions, which I have never been too fond of. Thankfully ISM has prepared me to make goals, and I already have some in my back pocket that I made at the beginning of the school year. When I say that I am making new goals, I'm not saying that I'm throwing away what I originally intended for my year. I'm instead focusing in on broader goals I had made for myself back in September. I'm taking an idea and forming it into a real tangible goal that I can reach.

My first goal that I am setting is to get a mentor. This class is called Independent Study and Mentorship for a reason. I can't just do an independent study and leave out the mentorship. I have to seek out a professional who can help on my ISM journey. I am focusing on this before I decide to get to work on my final product.

My second goal is to publish my children's book. I am very excited to do this, and I c can't wait to get it out there for people to see. I've had this as a goal of mine for quite some time now, and I am ready to put it into action as my final product.

I can’t wait to get the ball rolling and start off the year strong!
