Covid - 22

After taking two covid tests, I realized that I may have taken the phrase "stay positive" too literally.

I started the year off strong by getting Covid. Hooray.

It wasn't too bad, but I was incapacitated from doing anything other than laying in bed and drinking tea. I felt like a lazy British person. A lazy British person who couldn't complete any schoolwork or leave the house. Resting helped me very much (along with lots of medicines) and I feel much better as of now. Unfortunately, I have to stay home and quarantine until I get the clear to go back to school, which means I'm stuck at home with no way to hang out with my friends or talk to my teachers.

As for ISM related work, I haven't been able to complete anything related to it, and I doubt that I'll be able to interview with a mentor from my house (unless you count zoom, which I would rather not do when I have the option of waiting to ask a professional to mentor me in person). I will take this time to boost my morale, however, and reset my mental framework for the rest of the semester. I am thankful for this time because it has allowed me to build up habits that will help me finish strong.

There's no time like the present, and I plan on using this time in quarantine the best I can!
