Assessments
The purpose of ISM assessments is to extract meaning from research, mentor visits, interviews, and observations. These assessments must be interesting to research and elicit excitement in the researcher as well as allow them to organize thoughts about their topic appropriatly. Each must be a minimum of 500 words.

Research
Research assessments should reflect not only knowledge gained but insight and an evaluation of how this added information affects your ISM study. It can be from any credible source relating to your topic.
Interview
These assessments are the written documentation and evaluation for each interview that you conduct.
Mentor Visits
The assessment is the written documentation and evaluation for one or more mentor visits that you conduct.
Observation
The assessment is the written documentation and evaluation for one or more observations that you conduct, such as surveying a professional doing something of importance in your field of interest.
